Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement

This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and competence without attending to any classrooms or workshops. Your allocated assessor will visit you on site.
The NVQ is designed for existing Assessors of Vocational Skills and Knowledge.

The Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement is for practitioners who assess knowledge and/or skills in vocationally related subject areas using the following assessment methods: assessments in simulated environments/skills tests/oral and written questions/assignments/projects/case studies/RPL.

Each candidate is required to produce evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Evidence can include:

  • observation report by assessor
  • assignments/projects/reports
  • professional discussion
  • witness testimony
  • candidate product
  • worksheets
  • record of oral and written questioning
  • Recognition of Prior Learning
