This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and competence without attending to any classrooms or workshops. Your allocated assessor will visit you on site.
The NVQ is designed for existing formworker/shuttering carpenter active in the Construction Industry.

This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Formwork is aimed at workers who need recognition for their prior knowledge, experience and competence as a formworker. Due to the fact that the Diploma in Formwork is a competence-type qualification, it instantly certifies that the wire has the skills and knowledge that are up to the national standard. By having this diploma, you can use it to gain jobs, or to work towards a higher qualification.

Each candidate is required to produce evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Evidence can include:

  • assignments/projects/reports
  • worksheet
  • portfolio of evidence
  • record of oral and/or written questioning
  • candidate test papers

Blue CSCS Card
On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CITB Health and Safety test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the blue CSCS skilled worker card.
