This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and competence without attending to any classrooms or workshops. Your allocated assessor will visit you on site.
The NVQ is designed for existing Cladding/Rainscreen Installers active in the Construction Industry.

The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. Learners are required to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and experience installing sheeting, cladding and rainscreens to roofs and walls. This qualification is suitable for trades people responsible for installing sheeting, cladding and rainwater goods to roofs and walls.

Each candidate is required to produce evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Evidence can include:

  • assignments/projects/reports
  • worksheet
  • portfolio of evidence
  • record of oral and/or written questioning
  • candidate test papers

Blue CSCS Card
On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CITB Health and Safety test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the blue CSCS skilled worker card.
