Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Glazing

This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and competence without attending to any classrooms or workshops. Your allocated assessor will visit you on site.
The NVQ is designed for existing Glaziers active in the Construction Industry.

This qualification is aimed at those who carry out activities in the Construction Industry as glaziers, installing glass into frames (e.g. windows, doors), and those who work to maintain glazing installations (usually windows and doors).
This qualification is at Level 2, and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the job.

Each candidate is required to produce evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

Evidence can include:

  • assignments/projects/reports
  • worksheet
  • portfolio of evidence
  • record of oral and/or written questioning
  • candidate test papers

Blue CSCS Card
On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CITB Health and Safety test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the blue CSCS skilled worker card.
